Youth Group Trip for 2008

Okay, I am finally trying to get a grasp on the youth group trip for 2008. I am 90% sure it is going to be during summer vacation instead of Spring Break Vacation this time around. It's been a toss up between California Adventure and Six Flags, but right now I think more people are wanting to go to Six Flags. I'm also thinking about making this trip a 1 day thing instead of 2 days like last time. That way no one has to spend money on a motel room. So, the reason I'm posting all of this up is that I want and NEED your opinions on this. If no one says anything, then what I've written is most likely what is going to happen. Keep in mind we need a lot of drivers too. We almost didn't have enough last time. Please remember that. December Youth Devo

The devotional for December will be on the 22nd at the Aguirre's house. Not much more is known right now about the devo, so I'll post more on here as more information is acquired. But for now, make sure to have the Saturday of the 22nd open to spend time with your fellow christians.

Youth Devo for November

The Youth Devotional for this month will be held at Cliff & Zinnie's house (unless they changed the location & I don't know about it) on Friday the 16th. It will start at 6:30pm. Ask Cliff or Zinnie for directions if you don't know how to get to their house, 'cause we don't want you to say you didn't go because you didn't know how to get there. We all hope to see you there!

Gospel Meeting

The West Visalia Church of Christ will be having their annual gospel meeting this month from the 8th to the 11th of November. The speaker for this event will be B.J. Clarke. The event will start at 7:00pm and end around 8:00pm Thursday through Saturday, and will continue on Sunday during our regular church times (Class starts at 9:45am & worship starts at 10:45am). Everyone from West Visalia Church of Christ invites you to come and looks forward to seeing you there!

Monday Night Girls Class

It was just approved & now official, there will be a Monday Night Girls Class. I (Tiffini) am planning on starting it in November. More info will be given when it comes. Right now, I am trying to figure out at what time it should start on Mondays. It'll either be from 6:30-8:00pm or 7:00-8:30pm. If you have any preference on this, please let me know. Otherwise, I'm going to just choose one of these times. I hope all you girls can come and be a part of the class.

Monthly Singing

This Friday, the 19th of October, is the monthly valley-wide singing. It will be held at the Dinuba Church of Christ. It starts at 7:00pm, and, in the past, the singing will last up to an hour. Afterwards there will be refreshments provided. Hope to see you there!

A New Webpage...

So here it is, the new West Visalia Church of Christ (wvcoc) Youth Group webpage/blog. This is where you can find out what is going on in the youth group, such as when something is planned (like a youth devo) or you can look at photos of stuff that have already happened (if there are any posted). There is also a chat room for everyone to chat in, making it easier to talk to church friends that live far away. The main reason for this blog is to help the members of the WVCOC Youth Group remember when activities are happening for them. Hopefully, this webpage will be helpful. If you have anything you want to add to this webpage, such as an activity you have planned or an idea to do something, please let me know in person, e-mail me, or post a comment on here.
