Youth Devo For December 2008

The youth devo will be held at the Knight's house a week from this Saturday. Please make plans to attend.

We will be having a gift exchange, so make sure to bring a gift $15 or less, which is suitable for either a boy or girl.

Youth Group Trip Update

As most of you know, it has been decided that we will be goint to 6 Flags Magic Mountain on Saturday, June 7th, for this year's trip. It's gonna be a 1 day thing; we'll leave at 8:00am that morning, and get home around 10:00pm that night.

I have found a deal online where if we get at least 10 people to commit to go, then we only have to pay $26.00 per person instead of the normal gate price of $60.00. PLEASE let me know if you are planning on going AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!! I need all payments in check form to me by May 18th. If I don't get your money by then, I will assume that you will pay for your own ticket at the gate. But again, if you do want to go, you must let me know SOON. If I don't hear about you wanting to go by May 4th, then I will assume you aren't going. Also, if you go, & are getting a ride from someone else, you must pitch in $5 to $10 for gas to the driver. If you want to go and wouldn't mind being a driver, please let me know.

*IMPORTANT* If I can't get at least 6 people to go, then the trip is off. There's no point in less than 6 people going.

Thanks to all of you who have confirmed with me that you're going. It's a load off my mind.

Youth Devo for February

Hello to anyone who is reading this. The next devo coming up is in February. It will be held at the church building on Saturday the 16th. It will most likely start at 6:30pm. If the time is changed, you will be notified. Right now, we are planning on having a breakfast theme like we did last year, and then afterwords, we might get to enjoy a nice peaceful game of "The War Game". I hope everyone is able to attend.

Youth Group Trip for 2008

Okay, I am finally trying to get a grasp on the youth group trip for 2008. I am 90% sure it is going to be during summer vacation instead of Spring Break Vacation this time around. It's been a toss up between California Adventure and Six Flags, but right now I think more people are wanting to go to Six Flags. I'm also thinking about making this trip a 1 day thing instead of 2 days like last time. That way no one has to spend money on a motel room. So, the reason I'm posting all of this up is that I want and NEED your opinions on this. If no one says anything, then what I've written is most likely what is going to happen. Keep in mind we need a lot of drivers too. We almost didn't have enough last time. Please remember that. So, next time you see me, give me some input, or, if you want, post a comment up here on this webpage. Thanks!

December Youth Devo

The devotional for December will be on the 22nd at the Aguirre's house. Not much more is known right now about the devo, so I'll post more on here as more information is acquired. But for now, make sure to have the Saturday of the 22nd open to spend time with your fellow christians.

Youth Devo for November

The Youth Devotional for this month will be held at Cliff & Zinnie's house (unless they changed the location & I don't know about it) on Friday the 16th. It will start at 6:30pm. Ask Cliff or Zinnie for directions if you don't know how to get to their house, 'cause we don't want you to say you didn't go because you didn't know how to get there. We all hope to see you there!
